		<p><strong>ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL </strong></p>
<p>The Cell is professionally managed by a perfect blend of diploma students. E Leaders are delegated with responsibilities for the smooth conduction of events and activities under the banner of the cell. The advisory board of E-Cell comprises of well-known entrepreneurs from the surrounding region. The high profile advisory board members guide the students from time-to-time to nurture entrepreneurial instinct in the students. It could be mentoring or venture funding; the E-cell is there to offer valuable advice on all aspects of entrepreneurship.</p>
<p>The main objective of Entrepreneurship Cell is to train ,infuse and &nbsp;develop our students who can start their own enterprise so that , instead of seeking jobs, the students who start an enterprise ,can provide jobs to others .Thus Entrepreneurship development Cell can solve unemployment problem to a great extent .And in this regard we have a tie up with National Small Industries Corporation(NSIC) Howrah ,Where our students are undergoing practical training and they are being encouraged to become entrepreneurs. Faculty training under National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) was conducted. Two students e-leader were trained. We also provide different training programs to our faculty members and students..The cell will provide a platform to nurture young entrepreneurs and start-up ventures. With the activities shown, we hope and expect even better progress in future and convert few students into promising entrepreneurs of future.</p>
<p><strong>OBJECTIVES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To inculcate within the faculty and the students the need and importance of Enterprise Development.</li>
<li>To encourage students who have not got job to start their own company/enterprise.</li>
<li>To enable students to remain self reliant in their employment.</li>
<li>Foster within the academic community the ability to provide innovative technological and business ideas.</li>
<li>To provide support for growing entrepreneurship activity at the college level.</li>
<li>To create awareness among the students of the Institution regarding the entrepreneurship as a carrier option.</li>
<li>To conduct training program in the field of entrepreneurial skill development.</li>
<li>To create an environment for self-employment and entrepreneurship development through formal and non-formal programmed.</li>
<li>To introduce the concept of entrepreneurship in curricula at diploma level.</li>
<li>To develop management personnel at appropriate levels for the non-corporate and unorganized sectors like education, rural development, small-scale industry etc by utilizing the infrastructure facilities and technically trained manpower</li>
<li>To promote employment opportunities.</li>
