Editing: cleanup_README.txt
ONE-CLICK FIX FOR HOSTINGER - README Files included: - uploads/.htaccess (place inside any upload directories) - secure_upload.php (secure uploader; configure $storage if you can move uploads outside webroot) - showpath.php (small helper to show server path) - cleanup_README.txt (this instructions file) Quick apply (Hostinger File Manager): 1) Backup your public_html and DB. 2) Upload contents of this ZIP into public_html (or desired folders). 3) Place uploads/.htaccess inside each folder that accepts uploads (e.g., public_html/uploads, public_html/admin/images). 4) Edit secure_upload.php and set $storage to an absolute path outside webroot if available (e.g., /home/u721653068/uploads). 5) Test secure_upload.php via browser and check upload_activity.log. 6) Run your scanner (malware_scanner.php) to detect and quarantine suspicious files. 7) Change all passwords (hosting, FTP, DB, admin), disable FTP if possible, enable SFTP. 8) Set file permissions: files 644, folders 755. Avoid 777. 9) Temporarily set index.php to readonly (444) or use chattr +i if your host allows. 10) Monitor logs and scanner weekly. NOTE: This is a mitigation toolkit. For full cleanup, manually review quarantined files or restore from a clean backup.
