<h3><strong><span style="color: #800000;">ABOUT US:</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Established in 2016, Alumni Association of Nilasaila Institute of Science and Technology is an independent registered body of more than 1200 alumni spanning across the nation. The collage prides itself in the success of its alumni. Though their dreams took them in new directions, NIST alumni have always felt connected to their alma mater and hence, they have over the years nurtured the institute through their generous contributions. The spirit of&nbsp;<em>Giving Back</em>&nbsp;is reflected in every corner of the institute; be it infrastructure development, scholarships, especially to girl students, financial support to various hobby clubs, set-up of different R&amp;D labs and faculty chairs, donations to various community development sectors, environment, etc.&nbsp;</span></p>
<h3><span style="color: #800000;"><strong>VISION:</strong></span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Alumni Association of NIST, BALASORE, will be a strong, fluidic, member-oriented organization, motivated by values and focused on supporting the social, psychological, economic, and spiritual needs of all present and future alumni of the Alumni Association of NIST, BALASORE.</span></p>
<h3><span style="color: #800000;"><strong>MISSION:</strong></span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Alumni Association of Nilasaila Institute of Science and Technology, Balasore, hopes to promote the best interests of the college and to establish mutually beneficial relations between college and its alumni. The Alumni Association of NIST, Balasore, aims to achieve the following&nbsp;missions:</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">1) Promoting a strong relationship between alumni and the Institute.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">2) Develop alumni programs that foster fellowship among alumni.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">3) Assist the college growth of its infrastructure, culture and extracurricular activities.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">4) Encourage participation in the annual fund and capital campaigns.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #800000;">SARC:</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">A student team is of utmost importance so as to work at the college level, interacting with the alumni association and updating the necessary website and database for the knowledge of alumni. So, a 16 member&nbsp;body at the college level under the guidance of the Alumni Association of the college is actively working towards achieving the Association's vision, mission and goals.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Committee is referred to as &ldquo;STUDENTS ALUMNI RELATIONS COMMITTEE&rdquo;.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The main tasks including but not limited to:</span></p>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">Alumni site up gradation and update</span></li>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">Events Calendar Preparation and Approval in Sync with college activities.</span></li>

<li><span style="color: #000000;">Yearly alumni meet organization to induct new alumni</span></li>

<h3><span style="color: #800000;">ACHIEVEMENTS:</span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">After successfully completing their academic years at the institute, our alumni went on to expand their wings and touched new heights, be it as entrepreneurs, industrialists, academicians, researchers, social cause champions etc. Our alumni are well established in DRDO, CIPET, TATA, TATA Power, Mehendra India, Dhoot Transport, Griefeo, Junior Engineers, government services and many other sectors.</span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #800000;">ACTIVITIES:</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Developing an active and engaged alumni network empowers both the Institute and its graduates. Whether our alumni are interacting with the Institute or its student body, attending events, working with the Institute on various Legacy projects or serving as volunteers, their contributions make a difference to NIST family. The Alumni Association continues to seek innovative ways to serve alumni by providing social, educational, and professional opportunities that appeal to our broad constituency. The institution organizes alumni meet once every academic year to strengthen this bond.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">NILASAILA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY has been a pool of meritorious students consistently for many years. And hence it has always tried to facilitate quality engineering education to equip and enrich young men and women to meet global challenges in development, innovation and application of technology in the service of humanity.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Ever since its&nbsp;inception, a strong commitment to excellence in&nbsp;teaching and research has made NIST, BALASORE one of the top most colleges in Odisha. Its rich academic tradition has always attracted the most&nbsp;talented students who later contribute to the progress of the society.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">I would like to acknowledge the students for their consistent hard work due to which this college has been able to become the first and foremost choice of the aspiring engineers of Odisha.
